Scoping Fly Fishing Spots and Finding Hidden Skate Ramps with Kate Ediger and Mirae Campbell

Scoping Fly Fishing Spots and Finding Hidden Skate Ramps with Kate Ediger and Mirae Campbell

The entire trip has actually been a bit
of a dream trip for myself. Everything we’ve done has been everything I
absolutely love to do so just to be able to do this is a little bit ridiculous. The fishing day was almost like adrenaline overdose. First cast on my fly
rod I caught a fish. I’ve been fly-fishing for two years and I couldn’t
catch anything on my own this guide is like Kate, “Cast right here” and one bite.
I’m so excited and then yesterday I have been trying to search for this hidden
ramp for six years. We are going to go find a secret skate ramp. We don’t know where it is. I felt so kooky walking through the woods with my skateboard on
a backpack like oh look at this girl she’s got a skateboard it’s so fake and
setup and I’m like no I actually skate and I actually want to find this ramp
and this would be the sickest thing. Kate has been obsessed with that skate
ramp forever and then seeing her face when she got to look at the skate ramp
just from the distance and she just liked her little body with a skateboard
in her backpack and she was running towards it was like the best cutest
thing I’ve ever seen in my life. Six years later it was pretty disheveled
and mossy and hilarious but it was probably the highlight for me. So slippery.
