Hello friends, Welcome to our channel Easy to cook Here are going to make a simple yet delicious prawn curry with limited ingredients. The ingredients required to make the recipe are listed here First wash and clean the prawns thoroughly. Here we have not removed the skin of the prawn as it gives a nice red color to the gravy. Marinate the prawns with salt and turmeric and leave it for 30 minutes. Now take a frying pan and add 2 tablespoon of oil to it. Let the oil heat. Add prawns to the oil and cook for 10 minutes till it is golden fried. While the prawn is cooking, let’s prepare the paste for the gravy. Grind the chopped onions, garlic and ginger in a mixer to form the paste. This is how the paste will look like. The prawns have been fried completely, now we will make the curry. To make the gravy we need some spices like cardamom and black pepper along with chopped onions. Also, we will use turmeric, red chilli powder and the paste for the same. In the left over oil, first add cardamom followed by black pepper powder. Now add the chopped onions and cook them till they turn slight brownish. Now you can see that the onions are fried properly. Now add the paste to the onion and mix them properly. Now add salt, red chilli and turmeric powder to give a nice color to the gravy. Mix all the ingredients well and cook till the mix changes its color and oil droplets are seen. While the paste is being cooked, we will cut 1 potato and tomato for the recipe. The paste is being cooked properly and you can see the oil droplets too. Add the cut potatoes and cook for another 5 minutes. Now add the fried prawns to this mixture and cook well. Add the tomatoes to the mix and cook for another 2 minutes. Now add water to the recipe and cook till the potatoes are cooked properly. Cover it with a lid and cook on a low flame for 10 -15 minutes. That’s it! Your yummy prawn curry is now ready. This red prawn curry goes well with chapati and puri. It’s best served with hot steamed rice. Thanks for watching and enjoy your meal.
