How to make prawns biryani in Malayalam / ചെമ്മീൻ ബിരിയാണി

Namaste Hope you all are doing good Today I am here with a biryani recipe Today I am preparing prawns biryani This is Kerala style prawns biriyani It’s a very tasty dish Try prawns biriyani I have already uploaded soya chunks biryani, chicken biryani, etc. Please watch those videos, if you haven’t If you are new to my channel, please subscribe Let’s make prawns biryani Basmati Rice – 3 cups / Cardamom – 6 / Cinnamon 2 pieces/ Cloves – 6 / Fennel seeds – 1/2 tsp/ Ghee In a bowl, take prawns prawns are deveined and cleaned prawns – 500 gm will marinate prawns now add chilli powder, pepper powder, turmeric powder, and salt Mix well Set aside for 10-15 minutes This is rice for biryani I have taken jeerakashala rice wash rice in 3-4 turns of water soak for 10-15 minutes ingredients that go into rice cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, fennel seeds GUYS!!! USE ONLY 2 ONIONS AS MENTIONED IN THE VIDEO green chillies ginger and garlic crush ginger and garlic tomatoes – 3 these are masala powder needed fennel seed powder chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder garam masala powder chop tomatoes chopping tomatoes will make biryani masala heat a pan when pan is hot, add oil you can use leftover oil from frying prawns when oil is hot add green chillies, crushed ginger and garlic mix well add onion saute well add salt saute till onion turns soft when onion turns soft, add tomato saute well saute well till tomatoes gets cooked tomatoes are cooked add chilli powder coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder adding powders saute on low flame saute till the raw smell leaves saute once the raw smell leaves, add fried prawns add fried prawns mix well mix well add 2-3 tbsp of water don’t add too much water don’t add too much water addition of water helps the masala from drying mix well mix well close the pan using a lid cook for 2-3 minutes till masala is well coated on to prawns now prawn biriyani masala is ready add salt add lime juice add coriander and mint leaves mix well switch off the stove. set prawn masala aside. will prepare rice now heat a pan when pan is hot, add ghee or oil when oil is hot, add onion saute onion this is used for garnishing saute till onions are golden brown in color onion is brown in color set this aside set this aside fry cashews and raisins when cashews start to turn brown, add raisins fry set the fried cashews and raisins aside. set the fried cashews and raisins aside. now will add cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, fennel seeds, now will add cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, fennel seeds, allow it to splutter add rice fry for 2-3 minutes fry for 2-3 minutes fry for 2-3 minutes after 2-3 minutes, add boiled water after 2-3 minutes, add boiled water after 2-3 minutes, add boiled water I am using double the amount of water here to rice so for 3 cups of rice, 6 cups of water so for 3 cups of rice, 6 cups of water so for 3 cups of rice, 6 cups of water add salt mix well close the pan. cook on medium flame open the lid in between, stir well water is absorbed, rice is done mix well set aside cooked rice will put biriyani on dum will start to layer rice and prawn masala heat a nonstick pan. add ghee first add half of the cooked rice first add half of the cooked rice you can even add masala first and then add a second layer of rice layering rice level the rice using a spoon as shown add half of prawn masala sprinkle fried cashews and raisins sprinkle fried cashews and raisins add caramelized onions, coriander and mint leaves add caramelized onions, coriander and mint leaves add garam masala powder add garam masala powder add cooked rice as shown add cooked rice as shown level rice using a spoon add other half of prawn masala add other half of prawn masala add fried cashews and raisins caramelized onion set aside some caramelized onion for garnish add ghee add ghee close the pan I have placed the nonstick pan on top of an old pan I have placed the nonstick pan on top of an old pan I have placed the nonstick pan on top of an old pan this prevents the rice from sticking on to the bottom this prevents the rice from sticking on to the bottom cook on medium flame cook for 10 minutes it’s been 10 minutes now will open the pan will open the pan mouthwatering smell mix gently make sure to mix gently otherwise rice will get mashed mixing gently Remove biryani on to a serving dish serve biryani with raita, pickle, pappad, chammanthi serve biryani with raita, pickle, pappad, chammanthi serve biryani with raita, pickle, pappad, chammanthi serve biryani with raita, pickle, pappad, chammanthi try prawns biryani.
