Chingri Macher Malai Curry | Prawn Malai Curry | Bengali Prawn Curry

Welcome to Cook with Sonali Today I am going to make chingrimacher malai curry It is famous and popular recipe for Bengali occasion So let’s have a look at the ingredients At first we add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt into prawn Mix it nicely with your hand and keep it aside for about 15 minutes. Meanwhile heat oil in the kadai once the oil is enough hot add slices onion, little bit salt Stir it well for couple for minutes once the onion turns light golden brown then add chopped tomato, and ginger garlic paste Sauté for few minutes until the onion and tomato soft and tender Once it done let it cool down completely and take it out on mixy bowl, make a soft smooth paste make a smooth paste with your grinder Now see soft smooth paste is ready see the consistency of paste now I will take it out in a bowl Meanwhile heat oil in kadai once the is hot add prawn pieces one by one Cook it until turns golden brown Once it one then I will take it out in a plate Again heat oil in the same kadai add bay leaves, cinnamon, cloves , cardamom stir it well Now I am going to add onion paste just mix it well now time to add all the spices like cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder Mix it well and cook for about 2-3 minutes Now time to add cashew paste into it Mix it well and cook for about another 2-3 minutes after 2 minutes I will add coconuts milk into it mix it slowly slowly and continue to cooking the mixture now I will add the prawn pieces one by one again mix it well add little bit garam masala mix it nicely Cover it and let it cook in low flame for about 8- 10 minutes after 10 minutes open the lid and add some butter and you can also add 1 tbsp ghee and green chilies See chingri macher malai curry is ready Hope you will try this out and let me know how it turn up for you If you have any queries feel free to ask me in comment section below If you want to know more details about the recipe please check my website Please like my video and subscribe to my YouTube channel for more delicious recipes.
